Therapeutic Yarns Consulting.

Culturally grounded evaluation, research, service strengthening, and workforce support

Therapeutic Yarns Consulting is an Aboriginal-owned consultancy specialising in Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB), culturally informed research and evaluation, clinical governance, mental health service design and workforce support.

We work alongside Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), ACCHOs, NGOs, education providers and government-funded services to design, evaluate and strengthen culturally grounded systems.

Led by Dr Abby-Rose Cox (PhD) and Samuel McWaters (Clinical Psychologist), our work brings together Indigenous research methodologies, rural and remote expertise, and systems-level policy insight.

We focus on meaningful, substantial projects that build long-term capability, not short-term fixes.
